The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 has finally made its official appearance. The car that became the pride of Toyota now comes with a new face and technology. Shown with the name Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the new SUV made by Toyota now comes with a thicker and stronger face.
This is clearly seen on the front face of the car, which now has a thick grille. Although it looks thicker and stronger, don't get me wrong, it turns out that the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is 200 kilograms lighter than the previous version.
It seems that Toyota is really trying to get rid of the old wounds that associate this car as a car that likes to drink Fuel, aka wasteful of gasoline. This can also be seen from Toyota's decision to replace the V8 engine in the Toyota Land Cruiser with a dual-turbo V6 engine.
In total, there are two engine options provided by Toyota, namely a 3.5-liter dual-turbo V6 engine with a maximum power of 415 PS and a maximum torque of 650 Nm and a 3.3-liter dual-turbo V6 engine with a maximum power of 309 PS and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. For some areas, Toyota even provides a V6 engine without a turbo in order to increase the choice and adjust the conditions of the destination country.
All that power is channeled to all four wheels via a 10-speed transmission. The installation of this 10-speed transmission promises that the entire power distribution will be more efficient without having to work hard and be diligent in drinking fuel.
Changes were also made in terms of offroad capabilities. Toyota says there are at least four things that are strengthened in the legendary Toyota car to make it more comfortable and easy to drive when on rough terrain. For example, improving the basic performance of the car's suspension, the adoption of Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension technology in the car's suspension so that the car becomes more resilient in exploring rough terrain.
Car users are also more comfortable when in rough terrain because they can control road conditions from inside the car thanks to the Multi-Terrain Monitor. So they can see the condition under the car without having to get out of the car.
There is also the addition of the Multi-Terrain Select feature, which automatically selects the correct driving mode once the car passes through rough roads. This feature ensures that the driver will have no trouble conquering the road conditions.
The interior has also completely changed, where this time Toyota designed the interior of the car to be more dynamic and stylish. No more stiff impression like that found in the Toyota Land Cruiser 200.
Technological sophistication should also be appreciated because the current Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense.
Toyota itself offers three variants of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, namely the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 ZX as the base model, then the other two Toyota Land Cruiser 300 VX-R, which is made to target the Middle East market, and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 GR Sport which comes with a more sporty and sporty appearance and dark grille.
Toyota said on its official website that it will soon sell this car as of June and will ship it worldwide. It could be that this car will enter Indonesia, so just wait.
