Automoto, Automoto651 - Not just any ninja, Kawasaki is ready to show off the H2 SX at EICMA 2021.

Around February 2021, several international media reported that a Ninja H2 SX model equipped with radar-based cruise control technology was detected.

Now, after months of testing, Kawasaki has finally officially launched the 2022 Ninja H2 SX SE model with an upgrade from the Kawasaki Advanced Rider Assist System (ARAS) driving gear.

As reported by Ride apart, Thursday (11/25/2021), radar-based equipment allows the Kawasaki H2 SX SE 2022 to come with features including adaptive cruise control (ACC), frontal collision warning (FCW), and blind spot detection (BSD) features.

In addition, this sport-tourer engine also has an LED light unit, an upper cowl component that accommodates a radar unit, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hold assist (VHA) and a remote-control function on the key.

All information can be read through the 6.5-inch color TFT display with SPIN infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity support for smart devices.

For long-distance riding comfort, the engine features a heater on the throttle, a USB charging slot and a wider saddle design for both rider and pillion.

The 998-cc engine with supercharger has reset the cam timing for better performance on the road especially during the low-mid engine speed range, followed by a new exhaust system that has been removed from the pre-silencer unit.

To ensure a smoother power distribution, second gear has been revised, while the slipper-assist clutch and clutch fluid have been re-optimized to make it easier for the driver to shift to neutral.

Kawasaki's Electronic Control Suspension (KECS) suspension system has now been equipped with Showa Skyhook EERA technology, consisting of a USD 43 mm Showa front fork, followed by Showa Balance Free Rear Cushion (BFRC) shock absorbers.

The rider can choose whether to use Sport, Road, Rain or Manual driving modes.

The selling price of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE 2022 starts from USD27,500 and is available in Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Diablo Black/Metallic Graphite Grey.
