BMW Indonesia launched its newest sports sedan, namely THE NEW 4. This car was introduced in Coupé and Convertible variants. The launch also continues 90 years of the success story of the BMW Coupé model.
"The BMW 4 Series is one of the models that have the most character and positive impact on the BMW brand, especially the Coupé model," said Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Group Indonesia.
On the same occasion, Jodie O'tania, Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia, explained that the focus of this latest vehicle is on the exterior and interior design and performance.
Present in 2 models of Coupé and Convertible, THE NEW 4 is produced at BMW Plant Dingolfing, Germany.
The exterior design of the BMW 4 Series has become a benchmark in the 2-door medium premium sports vehicle segment. The sleek headlights reach all the way to the front wheel fenders.
Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Laserlight come as standard. At speeds above 60 km/h, the BMW Laserlight will automatically increase its high beam range to a maximum of 550 meters and follow the direction of the road dynamically.
The sides of THE NEW 4 come with precision engraved and a sharp surface. On the body of the Convertible model, the soft-top roof design makes the side design of THE NEW 4 look more sporty and elegant at the same time.
With identical dimensions between the Coupé and Convertible, 4,768 mm long, 1,852 mm wide, and 1,383 mm high, these two vehicles become even more proportional.
In the interior design, sports seats and sports leather steering wheel come as standard. The start/stop button for the engine is now positioned on the central console. Passengers can now also start the vehicle from the outside via the Remote Engine Start feature.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional feature also comes with optimized smartphone integration. Along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that can connect wirelessly.
The BMW 430i Coupe M Sports Pro and BMW 430i Convertible M Sport are equipped with a 4-cylinder, 2.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, which produces 258 hp and a maximum torque of up to 400 Nm available for both models.
With an 8-speed Sports Steptronic transmission, both vehicles can reach 0-100km/h in just 5.8 seconds for the Coupe and 6.2 seconds for the Convertible.
The new BMW 430i Coupe M Sports Pro is offered at a price of IDR 1,399,000,000 (USD 96552.67) off-the-road. Meanwhile, the New BMW 430i Convertible M Sport is offered at a price of IDR 1,529,000,000 (USD 105524.69) off-the-road.
