Automoto651 - Ducati Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel Ready to Launch in July. Ducati introduced the Diavel series by introducing the 2021 Diavel 1260 S 'Black and Steel', which will be sold through a network of distributors starting this July.

No pricing information has been disclosed so far. The design of the new cruiser takes inspiration from the Diavel 'Materico' concept model shown at the Milan Design Exhibition 2019 and MOARD (Motorcycle Art and Design) Exhibition.

Still using the existing Diavel power train, the 1.262cc liquid-cooled Testastretta DVT L-Twin with 4-valves per cylinder, including two spark plugs per cylinder, produces 162hp @ 9,500rpm and 129Nm @ 7,500rpm of torque.

Diavel 1260 S 'Black and Steel' is using 6-speed manual clutch transmission featuring the Assist & Slipper (A&S) anti-skid clutch and chain drive.

The trucks are specially tuned for acceleration power at low revs, which is ideal for daily commuting or cruising sessions.

The Ride-by-Wire system matches three ride modes for Ride Mode and Power Mode.

Gray (gray) and Matte Black (dull black) are the dominant colors, with yellow accents highlighted on the frame, lower rear tail, rims, tank, engine cowl, and saddle. The yellow color is reminiscent of the colors of the 90s model, the 748 SP, which aims to evoke a sporty style.

The front and rear lighting systems use LED technology which is also combined with daytime running lights (DRL). This model also shares the same components as the Diavel 1260S.

The suspension system uses hlins units for the fully adjustable 48mm rear fork (USD) at the front and mono-shock at the rear, also adjustable).

With no new adjustments to the suspension system and tire profile, the saddle height is 780mm, while the tank capacity is 17 liters.

The wheels use a twin 320mm disc brake system at the front and a single 265mm disc at the rear with Brembo monoblock M50 calipers.
