Honda is reportedly developing a Clutch-by-Wire or a wireless clutch system with the use of sensors and actuators as opposed to the cable or hydraulic arrangements on current motorcycles.

All data such as gear position, engine speed, throttle position, and motorcycle speed will be analyzed so that the rider can experience smoother gear shifts, especially at low speeds.
This advanced sensor feature is very useful for riders who are using the hand clutch for the first time.
